Kimberly Wyatt has revealed she often gets told she looks like Kylie Minogue when she's dressed up - but admitted she didn't used to like her own appearance.
The Pussycat Doll, 43, rose to fame in the early noughties with the girl group and dance ensemble alongside the likes of Nicole Scherzinger and Ashley Roberts.
But it seems the fame and fortune that came with being in Pussycat Dolls wasn't enough to shake off Kimberly's shyness.
The American singer-dancer has revealed she used to be likened to Australian superstar Kylie all the time - but she didn't like how she looked.
She told Loaded for their December issue: 'I'm a shy girl at heart. I started out with very little confidence and I didn't love the way that I looked.
'I could get lost in leaps and choreography and in that I found something beautiful and pretty.'
On the comparisons to Kylie, Kimberly admitted she is her dream star to collab with as she added: 'I'm often told I look a bit like Kylie Minogue when I get dressed up.
'I even stepped in for her with a track with Taio Cruz when she couldn't make the gig, so I feel I have a connection with her.'
Kimberly went on to reveal that being a Pussycat Doll was not all glitz and glamour.
'Gosh it was hard being a Pussycat Doll and dancing in heels for an hour and a half,' she said.
'We were really breaking our bodies for it.'
And she came into contact with many a fellow star in her time with the girl group, as she said: 'Performing at Johnny Depp's Viper Room with Dr. Dre, or Christina Aguilera, or Gwen Stefani was epic.
'People like Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron would come along to band together and support each other.'
Last month Kimberly revealed that her world 'came crashing down' when the Pussycat Dolls reunion was axed, leaving her broke.
She opened up about how the tour falling through impacted her family life.
Speaking on the Mile Fly Club with Laura Hamilton, Kimberly admitted she had cleared her schedule to make way for the reunion - but went into 'panic mode' when it was axed.
'Three young kids, paying school fees and all these things - it changed our world,' she said. 'We've had to rejig our entire life because of it.'
Kimberly added: 'You end lots of your work to open all this space to go on the road so when it all comes crashing down it was panic mode.'
She went on to speak about the band's frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger as she lifted the lid on whether or not they are still close and if the band would reunite without her.
Kimberly described Nicole as being 'very elusive and very busy' and admitted it is hard to know how the former X Factor judge feels about the group.
'That is not my choice to make as I don't own the group,' Kimberly said. 'But the brand could.
'I don't know what the future of The Pussycat Dolls holds - and I don't know if I have the power to make anything happen.
'But I'm always looking for opportunities to bring the girls back together.
'I am in touch with Robin mostly, and the girls, and sort of Nicole - she's very elusive and very busy.
'It's hard to find out what she wants to do next and where she stands with the group.'
