NETFLIX CONFIRMS LONG-RUMORED KPOP DEMON HUNTERS WORLD TOUR

Netflix and AEG Presents announce a Kpop Demon Hunters live experience and world tour, bringing elements of the film to life for excited fans.

This week, Netflix and AEG Presents have teamed up to announce an upcoming Kpop Demon Hunters live experience and world tour, confirming the rumors that have circulated for months. Netflix made the announcement at its 2026 Upfronts presentation, promising a live experience that brings elements of the film to life in exciting new ways.

Details are sparse so far, but fans can join the waitlist to learn how to buy tickets and in which cities the tour will be stopping. It’s also unclear if the tour will feature any of the film’s original voice talent for fictional K-pop trio Huntr/x (EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami), but given how devoted the fanbase is, it seems likely. The three performers have spent a lot of the past year promoting the film on late-night programs and even performed on the Academy Awards stage and at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

Kpop Demon Hunters exploded onto the scene, becoming Netflix’s most popular film of all time. Produced by Sony Pictures Animation, the animated musical had clocked over 236 million views in three months, beating out the previous leader for Netflix’s most-watched film. Just shy of a year since its release, Kpop Demon Hunters has over a billion global views.

Netflix’s animated film also secured two Oscar wins—Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature—breaking records for animated films and Netflix films alike.

Earlier this year, the streaming giant confirmed that a sequel was already in the works, with returning directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans and Sony Pictures Animation producing the film.
