From the outside Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was exactly that, a successful woman who wanted love so she decides to ditch her life and job to follow an ex-boyfriend back to a small town in California. But this musical comedy series used its facade to dig deeper into Rebecca Bunch’s (Rachel Bloom) psyche and addictions. It’s as heart tugging as it is hilarious.
