JAMES BOND LEGEND TURNS BACK THE CLOCK 40 YEARS WITH STRIKING NEW HAIR ON MOVIE SET

Daniel Craig has undergone quite the transformation for Knives Out 3.

Boasting a stellar cast including Andrew Scott, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, and Kerry Washington, the third instalment in the hit franchise is titled Wake Up Dead Man.

James Bond legend Craig, 56, reprises his role as private investigator Benoit Blanc, back to solve a crime and, no doubt, take us down a winding road of twists, turns, and intrigue.

In a first-look image of Craig as Blanc, his character’s hair has changed a bit since we last saw him in Glass Onion.

On the verge of being unrecognisable, the debonair detective with a southern drawl has grown out his locks and is now a full silver fox.

Details of the plot are being kept under wraps, so it’s unclear how much time is meant to have passed between the second movie and the third, or how old Blanc is supposed to be.

He does, though, look as suave as ever, as the black and white image shows him in a suit and tie look, standing with his hands in his pockets.

In an exciting update, it’s also been confirmed that production is underway.

The film is slated for release in 2025.

Reacting to the preview, fans began speculating and sharing their hopes for Wake Up Dead Man.

‘The legend is back and he has a new look’, wrote deadeditors_ on X.

‘Love the long hair, Benoit’, wrote RenGeekness.

‘My man grew his hair out, the hat, the 3 piece suit…it’s bout to be a fire movie’, said ManMythDaLegend.

User realonx1 joked: ‘the knives out movies are gonna be like mission impossible with tom cruise alternating between long and short hair. i dig it.’

Addressing the high-profile cast, ImJeffreyRex penned: ‘An absolutely incredible cast. Can’t wait to see it. Love these films. It’s clear so many high profile actors want to be a part of this universe and be on a Rian Johnson set.’

‘The lineup here is simply CRAZY!! Can’t wait to see all these stars on screen together’, agreed Cinema_Bums.

As well as the aforementioned actors, Knives Out 3 also stars Josh Brolin, Cailee Spaeny, Josh O’Connor, Jeremy Renner, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

Knives Out is no stranger to an awesome cast, with the first movie featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, and Ana de Armas in 2019.

The sequel, Glass Onion (2022), then starred Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, Dave Bautista, and Janelle Monáe.

Also making a brief cameo in Knives Out 2 – which centred around a murder mystery at a tech billionaire’s private Greek island – was Hugh Grant, the love interest of Blanc.

Alas, it doesn’t seem like the rom-com icon will be back, unless he fancies surprising us.

Whatever happens in Blanc’s love life, one thing’s for certain – the case is due to be his ‘most dangerous yet’, according to the initial announcement.

Rian Johnson is once again writing and directing after earning Oscar nominations for his screenplays for the first two films.

Johnson previously told TheWrap that every Blanc mystery would be about the ‘here and now’ and touching on themes relating to what’s going on in the world.

‘That’s the whole kind of reason for being for them. I mean, they’ll all be completely different. Tonally they’ll be different, from the first one to, kind of, the bigger second one,’ he said of the characters.

‘The next one could go back to being cosy, but that’s one thing that I think they’ll always have in common is they’ll always be set right here and right now and hopefully be tapping into stuff that was on all of our minds.’
