CANADIENS: CRAVE SERIES ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION’S REBUILD TO DEBUT IN SEPTEMBER

In June, the NHL announced a new Crave original series that will feature an inside look at the rebuild of the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise. After a month of waiting, news has come out of a release date.

First reported by Costa Rontzocos on X, the show, titled Rebuilding; The Heart of the Montreal Canadiens will debut on Sept. 18, 2024.

Produced by Bell Media and Fair-Play Productions, the series documents the intricacies of the 2023-24 NHL season for the bleu-blanc-rouge. The series comprises eight one-hour episodes and will be available in both French and English.

The series is written and directed by André St-Pierre and features legendary narration from George Stroumboulopoulos in English, and Quebec-born actor Marc-André Grondin. Grondin is best known for his portrayal of Alex Laflamme in the Goon franchise and his Jutra Best Actor Award for his role in the Quebec-based film C.R.A.Z.Y.

“We are thrilled to offer our fans exclusive access to our players and those who make our team so fascinating,” said France Margaret Bélanger, President, Sports and Entertainment, Groupe CH in the original press release from NHL.com. “From the locker room to the front office, cameras captured never-before-seen moments of the inner workings of our organization. The true stories of our players, management and staff will be showcased.
